Join Jo Hunter in a discussion on ancient astronomical instruments used before modern equipment. She will do a detailed demonstration of the astrolabe. This is an elegant instrument that is still relevant today. Handcrafted astrolabes and sundials are available for purchase.

Jo Hunter is a artist and internet engineer. She owns Wavytail where she offers her art with a laser cutter, working with paper, wood, acrylic and fused glass mediums
She is also an accomplished photographer.
