Event Description: This innovative three-day course is taught by Coalitions & Collaboratives, Inc. in partnership with
Texas A&M Forest Service and the USDA Forest Service and is offered at no cost. This course is designed for
fire service personnel, emergency managers, city planners, and community leaders who are interested in
learning proven and effective best management practices that reduce wildfire risk.
The Community Wildfire Mitigation Best Practices training is designed to increase the skills of the professional mitigation practitioner and individuals who run mitigation programs. We endeavor to provide training to individuals who lead or have responsibility for community wildfire mitigation programs. Acceptance is on an individual basis and is not transferable to another person. If there are multiple people from an organization applying please ensure they apply individually.
