Event Description: NCAT is inviting ranchers, conservationists, and agricultural technical assistance providers to this free event
to deepen their understanding of Resilient Ranch Planning. This will be an engaging field day filled with presentations, group
discussions, and an introduction to the Hershey Ranch Resilient Plan, highlighting the relationship between climate, carbon,
land productivity, and resilience. Discover conservation practices that enrich soils, boost biodiversity both above and below
the ground, and enhance ranch resilience to changing climatic conditions.
The National Center for Appropriate Technology (NCAT) hosts in-person and virtual learning opportunities every year on sustainable
agriculture and energy topics from risk management and hemp growing to regenerative grazing and pairing solar with agriculture.
