Event Summary:
This presentation breaks down the multi-year Avian Study being conducted along the Mission Reach of the San Antonio River.

Event Description:
The San Antonio River Authority began a multi-year study of the birds within the Mission Reach during 2015 to document which species are using the restored habitat. Both resident and migratory birds have been recorded including wintering species, summering species and those passing through. Among those, a variety of species indicative of the project’s success have been identified including habitat generalists, habitat specialists, shy species, and range restricted species. Join us to learn about the 220 species recorded by the study and the various habitats being provided for them.
