Are you a new birder and want to get out there to learn how to bird and ID? Are you an experienced bird watcher that just wants to go out with some fellow birders? This is perfect for you! All experience levels are welcome to this program.
Meet: At the CCC Refectory at Lake Corpus Christi State Park
Bring: Comfortable walking shoes, water, and binoculars. Other birding equipment like cameras are welcome, but not required. If you are a new birder and don’t have binoculars yet, just email us and we can have a pair set aside for you.
Distance: We may walk or we may do stationary birding, depending on the group’s preference.
Cost: Free with Park Admission ($5)
