VT: Albert & Bessie Kronkosky State Natural Area-Save the Seedlings: Bandera County

This sounds like an emergency request to Save the Seedlings!

Work is underway to turn the state natural area into a state park. The clearing crew is getting close to where the road will turn up towards the future nature center. This snuck up on us. They may clear that area as early as Friday.

We are requesting a couple of volunteer team members to go through the construction area, on the canopy floor, before it is cleared to gather up seedlings and saplings that are mostly Madrones.

If you have time Wednesday afternoon (after the rain), any time Thursday, and, if needed, Friday as well, to Save the Seedlings before they bulldozed.
