October 9, 23; November 6, 20 @ 8:30 AM – 11:00 AM
Come out and help transform this 13-acre park from a ligustrum/ashe juniper forest to a native showcase with public access and trails. Volunteers and City of Boerne employees have already begun removing invasive trees, mulching trails, planting milkweeds and native trees, but there is still much work to be done. Join us at the amphitheater behind the Patrick Heath Public Library at 8:30am. Bring water, gloves, tools to remove and cut down undesirable plants and trees, shovels, pitchforks and wheelbarrows to chase off gremlins and to build trails. If you have kneepads, wear ’em or bring ’em. Liability waivers must be signed for work on the City of Boerne property.
Patrick Heath Public Library is located at 451 N. Main Street, Boerne
