Guided walk to learn about geological features, diverse habitats, birds and interesting finds along the trails at Lady Bird Municipal Park.
Natural Resource Specialist, Wildlife Biologist and now author Steve Nelle will speak on land management and wildlife conservation practices that can be put into practice today, using the writings and lessons of Aldo Leopold's "A Sand County Almanac".
Led by their expert guides, this event provides an excellent opportunity to see various birds at Mitchell Lake.
Join a ranger for a short hike out to Frog Pond and explore some of the aquatic life of the park
On 2nd Mondays of every month from 8am-11:30am volunteers will walk designated paths, count, and identify bird species. Led by local bird experts.
