Learn about the life cycle of the monarch butterfly.

Containerized trees present many challenges with getting them started the right way. This presentation will identify those challenges and how to correct them at planting, as well as how to prune or not prune new trees to get it through the first 25 years.

This presentation emphasizes diurnal raptors—birds of prey that hunt during the day—include easily recognizable birds like eagles, hawks, or falcons.

We meet on Thursdays at Kerrville-Schreiner park at 8:30-10:30AM. Drop-ins are welcome to join us, just tell the gatehouse you're a volunteer and they will waive the entry fee. On this guided bird tour at Judson Nature Trails, guests will see and learn to identify different birds with local birder, Barbara Sykes. Please bring Binoculars, water.
