Texas Nature Trackers with Texas Parks and Wildlife Department are launching a new citizen science project December 2024 for bat monitoring, We will have a virtual training on Sunday December 8th at 2pm, followed by a field training day on Sunday December 15 at 2pm. This is a great opportunity to get 4+ hours of advanced training before the end of the year, and we will train TMNs on a volunteer project they can do on their own speed and time (as long as it is on one of our approved field days)!

All levels of birding experience are welcome. This will be a good opportunity to practice and expand birding skills. A small group of volunteers will identify and count bird species in riparian, woodland, prairie, and marsh habitats of the Cibolo Nature Center campus.
