Craig Hensley has been a naturalist and educator for more than forty years, sharing is passion for the natural world with people of all ages from Minnesota and Nebraska to Kansas, Missouri and for the last 12+ years, Texas. He served as the Park Interpreter and Natural Resource Specialist at Guadalupe River State Park and Honey Creek State Natural Area for eight years before becoming a Wildlife Biologist for Kendall and Comal Counties. For the past 3+ years he has served as one of two Texas Nature Trackers Biologists, engaging Master Naturalist Chapters and the public across Texas to become involved in Community/Citizen Science. Craig lives and works out of Boerne, and is married to Hill Country Master Naturalist Terry Lashley. He has five grandchildren, 3 in New Zealand and 2 in the Boston area.
