The Texas Master Naturalist mission is to develop a corps of well-informed volunteers to provide EDUCATION, OUTREACH, and SERVICE dedicated to the beneficial management of natural resources and natural areas within their communities for the State of Texas. The Hill Country Chapter operates in the Edwards Plateau counties of Bandera, Edwards, Gillespie, Kendall, Kimble, Kerr, Mason, Menard, Real, and San Saba.
Requests for presentations are welcome from all organizations (for example: schools, FFA, 4H, Homeowners Associations, etc). Presentations are available as recordings and/or in-person. We will help get you in contact with speakers in a wide range of topics related to the Edwards Plateau ecoregion. Requests should be submitted, at least, 30 days prior to your event. We will do our best to meet exceptions of less than 30 days.
Please review our policies prior to choosing a topic by clicking here. Most presentations are free. In some instances there may be a nominal fee to cover travel expenses.
If you have questions, email Communications@hillcountrytmn.org.
The major topics are shown below. Click on a topic and the available presentation(s) information will be displayed. You can request the presentation on the detailed information page.
Please make note of the presentation title and format that you wish to request as it is needed to complete the request form. Give us time to learn how to program this so it will automagically populate the request form. The Communications Director is laughing…
Presenter Information
Do you have a presentation about a topic in the Edwards Plateau? Do you wish to join the list of Presenters? You do not have to be a Texas Master Naturalist. Fill out an application and we will get in touch with you. Our only requirements are that the topic be educational about the area, that the presentation avoids politics, and that a slide prepared by us be included in your presentation to promote the Master Naturalist program.
