The make over thus far has focused on resurfacing the parking lots and the paddling trail take-out area. Replacing the broken sections of fencing along the roadways is yet to come.
Anyone visiting the area at the end of day seven could not help but notice a radical change, as shown in these before and after photos.

Although a “before” photo is not available of the old boat ramp, its easy to imagine a deeply rutted, muddy mess in which a vehicle could easily become stuck. Here is the nicely paved “after”.
