Volunteer Opportunity – Lockhart State Park Homeschool Geology Class

Lauren Millican needs someone (1 or 2 teachers per class) to teach the Homeschool Geology classes on Thursday, February 11 (2 pm) and Friday, February 12 (9 am). She needs one or two individuals each day to teach the class about geology to homeschool kids/families.
Individual(s) are welcome to create their own curriculum for this class (which gets taught twice), OR Lauren can provide a curriculum that will involve creating sedimentary/metamorphic/igneous rocks out of playdough, identifying minerals (she has two mineral kits), and going on a hike to explore the geology of the park.
