Padre Island National Seashore is a premiere nature site within the South Texas Chapter Area. The park offers outdoor programming related to conservation and observation of the expansive nature offerings (birds, plants, and landscape) of the barrier island system. Common TMN volunteer activities include turtle patrol, guiding nature studies, education, working with rangers, and helping with beach litter.
