Brazoria County Dunes Day

The time has come to decide if you want a real tree for this Christmas Season. Real trees offer a beautiful and aromatic backdrop for your holiday festivities. Once the time comes to get rid of the tree, think about Brazoria County’s Dunes Day project – creating and stabilizing sand dunes with used Christmas trees. Bring your trees – free of tinsel, lights, and ornaments – to one of our drop off locations beginning December 26th.
Meet at Surfside Jetty County Park on the day of to volunteer “planting” those trees in the sand dunes of Follett’s Island beaches. Call for more information @ 979-864-1152 or email nathanm@brazoriacountytx.gov.
