Captain Shishka Bob

November 18 @ 7:30 am - 3:00 pm

Captain Shishka Bob is a 2 day educational event inviting 4th grade students from Brazoria County area schools.  Students and teachers are released to rotate between educational sessions to learn how agriculture touches their lives every single day.

From John O’Connell:

I am writing to inform and request your help for our Capt Bob event scheduled for November 18th and 19th, with set up on Nov 17th. I am seeking volunteers to run the Interactive -Water Cycle station (Spinners). Ideally, three volunteers would be optimal. However, two would suffice. If you are an Intern in training and able to help please don’t hesitate to reply to me.
Additional volunteers are being recruited to assist with the meal preparation, place setting, serving and clean-up. If you are able help in this area you can report to the Auditorium at the Brazoria County Fairgrounds. If you have not volunteered before or need a refresher an orientation and instruction will be offered. Volunteers that are able to help with the kitchen can report at 10:30 AM both days.
Thank you very much for all of the help in the past and the help you will offer in the future.
Please reply to me only if you can help!
