GCBO 2025 Spring Fling @ Quintana Bird Sanctuary

Message from GCBO:

Spring Fling is one of our most popular events and we need a lot of help to make it happen! This includes opening/closing our kiosk, selling drinks, snacks, and merchandise, feeding oranges to the birds, and answering visitor questions.

Spring Fling goes from April 5-May 4. We need 4 volunteers for each day; 2 in the morning shift and 2 in the afternoon shift. The morning shift is 9:00-12:30 and the afternoon is 12:30-4:00

THIS IS A VT OPPORTUNITY*
AS WELL AS A GREAT BIRDING / LEARNING OPPORTUNITY.

The morning shift is 9:00 – 12:30 and the afternoon shift is 12:30 – 4:00.

Training is required prior to working the Host Station. You must also sign-up to be Scheduled to work by contacting Celeste Silling  (see below).

You don’t need to be a “Bird Expert” to volunteer. It’s a great way to learn more from all the Experts who drop by and are willing to share.

Volunteering as a site host has been approved for up to eight(8) hours per day
plus appropriate travel time.
