Kid’s Fishfest @ Bass ProShops in Pearland, TX

About the event:
Brazoria County Parks is proud to host the Annual Kids’ FishFest Event at Bass Pro Shops Pearland on October 19th from 10am-2pm. This is a free family event! Spend the day learning how to fish and try your luck in the stocked, on-site pond. Poles will be provided while supplies last or you can bring your own. Bass Pro Shops will donate bait, Brazoria County Parks Dept. & Texas Parks and Wildlife will present Angler Education for all visitors, big and small.
BCPD is asking for volunteers to help with this event.
Volunteer opportunities include;
Registration
Equipment Maintenance (Basically untangling fishing poles)
Teaching fishing (Basic Tackle, Knots, Fish ID, Fish Habitat, Laws and Ethics and Casting)
Helping kids fishing around the pond.
No experience is necessary. You don’t even have to know how to fish to help.
