Scout Fishing Derby – BCPD

Volunteers are needed to help with the Angler Education Class and Fishing Derby for a scout group at San Luis Pass County Park. Lessons to be taught are; Casting, Knot Tying, Laws & Ethics, Fish ID, Habitat and Basic Fishing Tackle. Lesson plans are available for each activity. Afterwards the scouts will put their new skill to use and fish at the pass and need some assistance.
