After Meeting Note from Dave Powell –
After the chapter meeting one of the questions ask was what a pocket prairie looks like.
I thought about that and realized that is a difficult question to answer because they all depend on space and desire of the homeowner.
I have friends that have the whole backyard in native grasses and forbs, I have some that preferer on forbs. Some use only a park of their backyard yet others have converted their gardens to all natives.
I personally live in a condominium and have very limited space to us, so we got creative with our pocket prairie that has only forbs to attract pollinators to my patio.
The picture is of my pocket prairie, enjoy get creative just use natives.
