The Nature Conservancy’s Clymer Meadow Preserve will be hosting several Spring Tours in 2024! There are three opportunities to visit the preserve this spring:

Event Dates

  • Early Spring Prairie Tour – April 27 at 9:00am; RSVP by April 17
  • 37th Annual Spring Wildflower Tour – May 18 at 9:00am; RSVP by May 8
  • Late Spring Prairie Tour – June 1 at 8:00am; RSVP by May 22

Don’t miss your chance to walk among the wildflowers at TNC’s picturesque 1,475-acre Clymer Meadow Preserve, which contains one of the last remnants of the Blackland Prairie—an imperiled ecosystem comprised of numerous bird, butterfly, and wildflower species. You’ll immerse yourself in the beauty and color of true Texas prairie while learning about the history and ecology of our native grasslands. Grab your binoculars and camera, pack a picnic lunch and get back to nature!

Event Details

Space for each date is limited; three dates are being offered to accommodate everyone.

Tours will meet at different locations; information will be sent with RSVP confirmation.

RSVP to Brandon Belcher, North Texas Preserves Manager, at 903-752-0676 or Brandon.Belcher@tnc.org.

We recommend wearing a hat, long pants, and closed-toed shoes. You may also wish to bring insect repellent, sunscreen, binoculars, a camera, lunch and a water bottle. Tours are rain or shine!
