An AT Experience at Hagerman NWR Saturday, June 8th
Come and enjoy a day in the largest natural space in North Texas. Explore hundreds of acres of wildflowers, five hiking trails, plentiful buntings, deafening Dickcissels and a tours of our Butterfly Garden with docents to help identify plants and butterflies.

Schedule for the day:

  • 8 AM Bird Walk with elite birder Jack Chiles
    (Reservations Recommended)
  • 10 AM Second Saturday: Shrews with Bryon Clark, Phd.
  • 11:15 Tour the Butterfly Garden/Sack Lunch in the Pavilion
  • 12:00 – 1:15 Tram Tour* (Reservations) OR Hagerman Overview
  • 1:30 – 2:45 Switch: Presentation OR Tram Tour* (Reservations)

Bring a sack lunch to enjoy in the pavilion, water and insect repellant.
