‘Dem Bones Update

Deborah Canterbury, 2014 and Past President

Master Naturalists in the Heard Fossil Lab recently laid out Colombian Mammoth bones that have been prepped just to see how they may go together. More exist and they are trying to decide how to best display.

Work continues on Stinky the turtle. The multi-year project has been a challenge because of the hardness of the matrix.

A new project may be coming in soon.
