I have loved every minute of achieving my 500-hour milestone! I’m finding my groove with volunteering at The Heard Musuem and Blackland Prairie Raptor Center in animal care and training. I love the personal connection I make with the animals I have the opportunity to work with every week. I’ve partnered with another member of our Chapter to start a new club for Girl Scouts where they can learn more about the Blackland Prairie ecosystem and all the incredible things right in our own back yard! Finally, I love meeting new our Chapter’s Master Naturalists by working on the Education Committee and seeing their excitement as they start their journey through this amazing program.
