Habitat Work Day – Andy Anderson Arboretum

July 31, 2021 @ 7:30 AM - 10:00 AM

Come join us for this month’s workday at the Butterfly Garden at the Andy Anderson Arboretum! We will be working in conjunction with the Butterflies of the Brazos.

The garden needs to be weeded, leftover mulch applied, and plants trimmed. Many hands are needed to get the job done!

Please bring any gardening tools such as pruners, loppers, rakes, hoes, shovels, and we will need one or two wheelbarrows to move mulch. Ann Bohem will also provide a wheelbarrow. We do have access to water and water hoses. Don’t forget gloves, hats, sunscreens, insect repellant, water, and reusable containers for refills. There will also be snacks!

If there is a baseball tournament that Saturday they will be charging for parking. All you need to do is tell them you are going to be working on the garden and they will let you in without paying.
