The Brazos Valley Chapter of the Texas Master Naturalists sits in the heart of Aggieland, spanning Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Leon, Madison, and Robertson counties. Our area covers both post oak savannah and blackland prairie ecoregions, giving us a beautiful view no matter which county you happen to find your backyard!
Our Chapter was founded in 2005 and works tirelessly with local communities to conserve the natural beauty of the Brazos Valley, educate the public on local, state, and global environments; act as citizen scientists, and make our little corner of Texas a better place to live for humans and nature alike.
We meet at 6:30pm on the 3rd Thursday of every month to discuss Chapter news, share opportunities, and enjoy a guest presentation. These meetings are held at the Brazos County Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service Office (4153 County Park Ct, Bryan, TX 77802) unless otherwise noted on our home page/events calendar. All meetings are open to the general public, so please come join us if you are interested in seeing what we are all about! Every meeting is preceded by an informal half-hour social as well, if you would like to mingle in a less formal setting.
