We will be meeting every month instead of alternating months, with programs on even-numbered months (Jun, Aug, Oct, Dec) and action sessions on odd-numbered months (May, Jul, Sep, Nov). The Post Oak chapter of the Native Plant Society of Texas invites the public to a meeting on Thursday, February 7 at 6:30 PM at the ENRTA building, 1183 Fishtank Rd. in College Station. Our speaker will be Pat Merkord of the Native Prairies Association of Texas, who will demonstrate how to identify remnant prairie in our area, and provide information to help facilitate restoration and preservation.
