Beulah Acres is managed as an Agroforest with intense composting and use of organic materials. In this workshop we will review the environmental conditions around plant succession and soil biology. Using microscopes at 400X power you will be amazed to find the beneficial microorganisms in the soil which drive plant succession. We will then go into the Agroforest and measure compaction using a penetrometer and also collect samples to analyze with the microscopes to confirm whether the soil biology and compost are meeting the needs of the plants.
