Subject: Texas Master Naturalist Training Course Schedule & Application Details
Thanks for your interest in becoming a certified Texas Master Naturalist (TMN). Following is a tentative draftof the Hill Country TMN course schedule:
The deadline for submission of the application is April 22, 2024.
TENTATIVE COURSE SCHEDULE
Following are the likely dates and locations of 2024 classes and field trips. While we make every effort to make this schedule as accurate as possible, as with anything, unforeseen circumstances such as severe weather or scheduled speaker cancellations, may result in schedule revisions.
The training course will begin on August 14 and conclude on November 16.
A 2024 course Welcome Reception will be held at the Gillespie County AgriLife facility in Fredericksburg on Wednesday, August 14 (5:30 – 7:30 PM). Remember that attendance is expected and missed sessions/classes/field trips must be made up. Wednesday classes are “live” but may be attended via Zoom. Wednesday classes are from 5:30-8:30 PM unless otherwise noted.

Complete the Three-Step Training Course Application:
If you have not already applied, these steps are essential:
Step 1 » Complete and submit the Hill Country Chapter application form by April 22, 2024.
Step 2 » Submit tuition payment ($200, including textbook) by one of two options:
- 1) Pay by personal check, payable to Hill Country Master Naturalists. Mail to the address shown below.
- 2) Pay by money order, payable to Hill Country Master Naturalists. Mail to the address shown below.
- Mail your payment to TMN Hill Country Chapter, P.O. Box 293972, Kerrville, TX 78029.
Step 3 » Complete and submit the required state level Texas Master Naturalist Volunteer Application at https://txmn.org/hillcountry/step-3-tmn-volunteer-application/
- You will create an account for the Volunteer Management System and authorize the required background check.
Then click “Sign Up”
- Make a note of your Username and Password.
Your application cannot be considered without completing the three steps: course application, tuition payment, and state TMN volunteer application.
