Event Description:
Scientists consider the honey bee hive (‘colony’ is a better word) like no other insect nest or human commune on our planet. The activities needed to maintain this perennial super organism are a complex combination of social behavior, cooperation, communication, and biology. Learning what really goes on inside a honey bee hive is a very fascinating journey and, at the same time, a humbling experience.
