The book, The Humane Gardener: Nurturing a Backyard Habitat for Wildlife, is described as a “plea for compassion and respect toward all species…and how to welcome wildlife to your backyard.” It is not necessary to have read the book in order to attend. Ideas and examples for creating compassionate habitats for wildlife are welcome. List of books for future discussion will be solicited as will future dates and times.
