Learn about plant score systems and how they might indicate the health of land.
Event Description:
Did you know that different plants can indicate the health of our prairies and land? Some species are rarely found and only located in prairies that are healthy and at the peak of ecological succession (climax community). Plant scores can provide an effective tool for evaluating land, but how are they developed? Could a plant score system be developed for the Cross Timbers ecoregion? Tune in to learn more.
