Learn about the non-native and invasive plants in our area.
Event Description:
Non native, invasive plants are destroying biodiversity and wrecking havoc in our backyards, parks and preserves. Her presentation will include descriptions of the challenging invasive plants from other countries that are invading the Texas Hill Country. Learn about the problems they cause and why we should replace them with the native plants that benefit the insects, birds, butterflies, and animals of Central Texas.
It will be a hands-on presentation. Please bring a “brown bag” lunch and enjoy the presentation. Since the program is at the Amphitheater, please bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on.
