Learn about purple martins.
Event Description:
Get up close with purple martins and learn about the conservation efforts of this species. The day will include various educational activities including bird banding experiences, research updates, conservation of purple martin efforts and identification presentations for Swifts and Swallows. We will also have some extra fun as each participant will have the opportunity to apply what they learned and paint their very own purple martin canvas to take home with them.
- 7:30-8 a.m. – Registration
- 8 – 3:00 p.m. – Event
Maximum of 40 participants. Deadline to register July 1, 2022
Cost: $15 (includes lunch)
