Event Summary:
Michael Cicherski is an expirianced cave explorer who will share his dive into Home Creek Cave.

Event Description:
Michael Cicherski has been caving regularly since the late 80s. He is a Fellow of the National Speleological Society and a recipient of the National Speleological Society Certificate of Merit.

Michael has personnly explored Honey Creek Cave many times, a cave described by some as being “dark, creepy, and cold!” The mouth of the cave s on the privately-owned Honey Creek Springs Ranch, which was recently placed in a conservation easment by its owners to ensure its protection in perpetuity. With 20 miles of cave already documented, it is the longest known cave in Texas.

Michael has participated in the Honey Creek Cave, Powell’s Cave, and other projects here in Texas, as well as projects in Montana, Kentucky and in Mexico. Michael continues to be an active caver, and is the Co-Project Director in two on-going efforts in the Texas Hill Country.
