Event Date: 7/25/2023
Event Time: 6:30p-8:00p
Event Summary:
Deedy Wright, our speaker for July 25, brings knowledge and experience of reestablishing the native Texas ecosystem with her.
Event Description:
“The more people learn about the wonders of nature and what some of those common ‘weeds’ do for the environment, the more they will care,” Deedy Wright told Kaydee Nance for the New Braunfels Herald-Zeitung. “We don’t tend to value what we don’t know about.”
With that, Deedy Wright, a retired teacher with a passion for preserving and restoring the native ecosystem, became a foundation member of the the New Braunfels chapter of NPSOT in 2018. A member of NPSOT since 1996, Deedy has enthusiastically founded chapters wherever she moved, encouraging others to see the beauty and life around them and the necessity of rebuilding it.
