Event Description:
Kevin Hartley, Sierra Outings Leader, will teach us the basics on how to plant, propagate, harvest and prepare the edible pads of the prickly pear cactus known as nopalitos. This traditional Mexican side dish is a sustainable and nutritional powerhouse.
Kevin Hartley is an experienced Sierra Club Outings Leader, trained in outdoor skills and edible plants.
