Event Description:
Oak wilt is the most devastating tree disease in the United States. Its effects are evident all around us in the Hill Country. Local Arborist Jonathan Davis will discuss how to deal with oak wilt, what it is, how it spreads, and mitigation strategies. Jonathan owns and operates Blessed Land, a land consulting and management business. Jonathan is an ISA Certified Arborist and is licensed to treat trees for oak wilt, with many years working with trees.
The public is invited to attend this free program of the Lakehills Area Library Garden Club. A brief business meeting will follow the presentation.
