Event Description: Learn about techniques that will help you monitor and adapt management strategies over time to continue conservation efforts in the future.
Part 3 of workshop series that is designed for landowners (no acreage limit) who are interested in learning about wildlife and habitat management. This 3-part series will start with the basics of land stewardship and progress to wildlife management practices and conserving the land for future generations. Participants will learn through an interactive workbook and join breakout sessions with TPWD biologists to talk about real world examples.
Join us for an optional field tour afterwards.

Event Location: Mason Mountain Wildlife Management Area, Mason, TX
Mason Mountain WMA is located in Mason County, approximately four miles north of Mason. From San Antonio, take IH 10 northwest to Junction, about 115 miles. At Junction, take US 377/TX 29 northeast to Mason, about 45 miles. In Mason take RR 386 north two miles and turn left onto Old Mason Road and continue for another two miles to the entrance to the WMA.
