Event Description:
This year many of us have experienced record heat and drought throughout much of Texas. During this time, you may have found yourself asking questions such as “how can I lower my gardens water usage? What native plants will be able to handle this heat? How do we cope?” This class will help you look at these questions from three different aspects: understanding native plants and their growth habits, learning which plants are known to be more drought tolerant and understanding how the care we give our plants benefits them when experiencing drought conditions.
