Event Description:
Holistic Management International (HMI) and Hill Country Alliance are teaming up to host a hands-on landowner workshop exploring Planned Grazing, Holistic Management, and the many benefits these practices afford to productivity and soil, ecosystem, and land health. Participants will learn from HMI’s Executive Director and Professional Certified Educator, Wayne Knight, who brings over 27 years of ranching experience and 17 years of grazing education to this workshop.

Discussion topics include:

• Reading the land for signs of ecosystem health and stressors and deciding on corrective action
• Forage assessment
• Practical pointers on the fundamentals of grazing planning
• Tips and tools to guide investment decisions

Lunch will be provided, and scholarships are available
