Event Summary:
Learn how to participate in updating the Great Texas Wildlife Trails (GTWT) site information for TPWD by gathering current site information and/or performing site Field Research (FR) surveys.

Event Description:

TPWD needs assistance updating their Great Texas Wildlife Trails (GTWT) site information and confirmation on what flora and fauna visitors might encounter during their visits. The Hill Country include sites in the regions Heart of Texas East (HOTE) and Heart of Texas (HOTW). See links:

The presentation will have 3 parts:
1) An introduction to the Great Texas Wildlife Trails (GTWT) history and terminology,
2) What Site information needs to be updated using a Site Questionnaire,
3) Requirements for a Site Field Research (FR) Surveys to qualify for volunteer hours.

One presentation will be in person with another being a Teams virtual meeting.
