Event Summary: Beekeeping 101 is an opportunity to learn all the basics to get started beekeeping. This course is geared for the beginner beekeeper – those will little to absolutely no knowledge.
Event Description: Beekeeping 101 is very hands on, with countless examples and opportunities to touch and handle the beekeeping equipment and bees.

Honey Bee Biology
Beekeeping Equipment
Setting Up Your Apiary
Overview of Diseases and Pest of Honey Bees
You will receive a packet with beekeeping catalogs, factsheets, and other useful literature. For the field day, you must preregister for time of field day.
Beekeeping suits and gloves are provided.
Cost: $60.00
In Person Class includes lunch on May 9, 2024
