Event Description:
This is an analysis of the geologic, vegetative, soil and climate conditions that create the Texas Hill Country land and freshwater systems its residents rely on. The class explores the integration and interdependence of the region’s natural systems and how we can steward our environment for a sustainable and resilient future.
Instructor Rachael Lindsey is the director of science and stewardship at the Hill Country Conservancy and serves on the executive and steering committees for the Texas Hill Country Conservation Network. She has more than 20 years of ecological and land protection expertise with research, management and monitoring.
