Event Summary: Native Prairies Association of Texas will host the North Texas Landowner Workshop.
Event Description: Native Prairies Association of Texas (NPAT) invites landowners to join us for our upcoming North Texas Landowner Workshop on Saturday, May 4, at the Dixon Water Foundation’s Leo Ranch (near Decatur, TX). The workshop will feature expert talks on assistance programs for prairie restoration and habitat management, holistic grazing, and how to work with land trusts to help conserve prairies. The day will conclude with a prairie tour.

10:00 am – Prairie Restoration with The Nature Conservancy Texas, Brandon Belcher
10:30 am – Grassland Restoration Incentive Program with Oaks & Prairies Joint Venture, Derek Wiley
11:00 am – Regenerative Grazing with Holistic Management International, Wayne Knight
11:30 am – Conservation Easements 101 with Native Prairies Association of Texas, Amber Arseneaux
12:15 pm – Pollinators & Grazing Management with the University of North Texas, Ellinor Lichtenberg
