VT: Albert & Bessie Kronkosky State Natural Area Creek Testing-Bandera County

The Streams and Canyons Team will begin testing our protocol for measuring morphological features on the Doobie Garden Reach of Bessie’s Creek.  Most of these are simple measures like length, width, depth but their accuracy is critical for calculating more elaborate features like gradient, sinuosity, flow.  Our protocol is still a work in progress, but it draws on protocols developed by the EPA, TCEQ and Texas Agrilife Extension.
