The presentation inspects pre-Columbian archaeological sites in Texas, with special attention to how sites are located in relation to natural features of the landscape, what plants would have been available to site inhabitants, what plants were recovered in archaeological investigations, what purposes they might have served, and how such knowledge is inferred.
