6/6/2026 From Mallory Lancaster: Hello friends! The time has come to start preparing for the 11th Annual Monarch Butterfly & Pollinator Festival on October 3rd from 9–2pm at Brackenridge Park! This year will be filled with even more interactive activations, entertainment, costumes, creativity, and wonder. We would love to invite you to apply to volunteer for this special day by filling out this sign up form. There are a variety of ways to get involved, from helping bring educational installations to life, supporting our festival team and community partners, assisting with setup and decorating, helping with breakdown, and welcoming and engaging festival attendees throughout the day. We have updated our volunteer application to help us better match volunteers with roles that align with your interests, experience, and capacity. If you have volunteered with the festival or one of our events before, be sure to let us know! Over the past year, we have gained an even deeper appreciation for what it means to create a truly community-supported event. Simply put, this event would not be possible without volunteers. Whether this will be your first year joining us or you have been part of the festival for years, thank you. Your support helps create meaningful experiences for thousands of families, inspires environmental stewardship, and brings a little more wonder into our community. 6/1/2026 Hello every one, it’s time for the last on the summer bank clearing work party of the summer on 6/11/2027, the park should have the lift to clear over hanging branches in the areas we have already cleared. So, most of the work will be getting the branches ready and on to the trailer to haul off. I should be there by 8:30, so come as early as you want to beat the heat.
Again, I’d like to thank you all for the time you have spent this year on this project.
