2014 – Thank You For An Incredible Year

Each year, we submit an annual report to the State summarizing our volunteer and advanced training hours, training information and acreage impacted.  We wanted to share with you some of these amazing results;

  • 36,738 Approved volunteer hours  – this is a new record for our chapter.   When you factor in the dollar value placed by the State of Texas – our chapter donated $859,669 to our community
  • 3,045 Advanced training hours
  • 14,599 – Direct outreach events – this means that there was actual hands-on or active training efforts
  • 51.5  – Acres impacted
  • 3 – 10,000 Volunteer Hour Milestone Winners  (only 7 in the entire State of Texas) are in our chapter – Dick Benoit, Tom Solomon and Jim Duron.

You made this happen and the board and our community thanks you for your dedication to service.
